The application and database run on Render, which maintains a SOC 2 Type 2 attestation and ISO/IEC 27001 certification. Documents, email and media run on Amazon Web Services, which maintains SOC 1, SOC 2, SOC 3, ISO 27001 and PCI DSS Level 1 attestations. All infrastructure is located in the United States. These are our providers’ audits, not ours, and we do not operate our own data centres.
Card details never reach usThey are typed into the payment provider’s own hosted frame, not into Proppely.
Card numbers, security codes and full bank account numbers are entered directly into our payment provider’s hosted form, served from the provider’s domain in an isolated frame. That data is transmitted to the provider; it never passes through, and is never stored on, Proppely infrastructure. Because every cardholder-data function is outsourced to a PCI DSS Level 1 validated provider, our scope falls under PCI DSS Self-Assessment Questionnaire A — the short questionnaire for merchants who handle no cardholder data. SAQ A is a self-assessment, so we do not call ourselves “PCI compliant”; the meaningful fact is that the data never reaches us.
Tokens, never card numbersWe keep a payment token plus the brand and last four digits.
What Proppely stores for a saved payment method is a provider-issued token, the card brand and the last four digits — enough to show you which card is on file and to charge it through the provider. No card number, no security code and no full bank account number is stored in our database or written to our logs. Money movement is also gated: AI and agents can only propose a payment, and a human confirms it in the application before anything moves.
SOC 2 and ISO 27001 statusControls structured to both; actively engaging an audit firm.
Where we are, stated plainly: Proppely does not hold a SOC 2 report or an ISO/IEC 27001 certificate, and we make no claim to either. What exists today is a documented programme — written security policies, a scored risk register, and control objectives structured around the SOC 2 Trust Services Criteria and ISO/IEC 27001 Annex A — and an active search for an audit firm to examine us. We will name the firm and publish the report date once an engagement is signed.

Leads from forms, calls, texts and portal emails
Website form submissions, inbound calls, WhatsApp/Telegram texts and Zillow-style lead emails all become leads — resolved against existing records and merged, so one person is one card. Then showings, application, screening and lease follow on the same timeline.
Connect Gmail to the unified inbox
Owners, managers, and agents can optionally connect their own Gmail from /inbox. We read mail to show it next to texts and native Proppely mail, and we send as you when you compose. We do not delete or modify messages inside Gmail. How we use Google user data is in the Privacy Policy.
Aircall built in
When a call comes in, your agent sees who is calling, which unit they are in, whether they are current on rent, and any open work order — inside the Aircall window. Call transcripts become maintenance work orders without anyone re-keying them.
Texts become work orders
A resident texts “leak under the sink”; AI classifies the priority, flags a real emergency, drafts the reply and dispatches your vendor — the request lands in the same maintenance queue as portal submissions.
Any language, both directions
